My FS9 crashes to desktop while playing the 767?
Please try below. The problem seems to mostly increase when cycling through the VC (going from 2D to 3D to spot view back to 3D etc). The VC loading is heavy, and for some reason FS9 has a problem with it. It will keep increasing the memory load on your PC, eventually going into a crash. Its a common problem with FS9, with all addons (not just CLS), however it seems very strange how sometimes the one product works, and another doesnt.
As I explained in another forum post, DXT1 texture set does help usually. So please try this. Download the zip file below, and put all bitmaps in each livery you want to fly. Just try one first. The liveries can be found in the product folder:
FS9 folder \ Aircraft \ CLS_762_GE for example. (or CLS_763_PW). Just choose a livery you like (liveries are in the texture.xx folders).
