I am an advanced simmer which means I will use PMDG add-ons, but however I do like CLS's idea of lite/medium add-ons. When I come home I don't have time to press every switch and do every checklist, hence why I sometimes use CLS add-ons. I love that CLS are making the BAe 146. I am disappointed that the windows are textured on, instead of being 'cut out'. I have been hoping that CLS would 'cut out' there windows instead of texturing them on for a long time. I make models for FS myself and it only adds about a day onto development time. 'Cut out' also greatly enhance the realism level, especially during dawn and dusk. It reduces frames by about 2-5fps.

In this stage of development I'd say it wouldn't be easy. While it only adds a day onto development when modelling, if you try to do that to a fully mapped aircraft it becomes a hassle. Not only that think about the fact they've got to get their texture artists to create a texture set for the exterior view cabin and model the interior, a realistic glass material needs to be created also. You've now got the problem of re-calculating the final payment percentages since they've been asked to do extra work which they weren't contracted to do.
While logically it seems cutting a few windows into a model presents only minor issues such as smoothing groups, at this stage for this company I'd say it's waaaaay too much work.
