Ias Climb Mode?

I was wondering if the Autopilot IAS Climb mode works like in real life. I tried it and I was expecting to be able to set climb thrust and have the autopilot maintain the speed that is dialed up by adjusting pitch. It did not seem to be doing this.

The manual mentions this, but doesn't tell you how to activate it. I've tried several different ways. It just doesn't seem to work.
Surely someone must know if IAS/Mach CLimb is actually modeled?
