Please first update the C++ database on your computer. This is the problem in most of the cases. Run the corresponding version to your computer below:
Windows xp, vista, 7 ; 32 bit
http://www.microsoft...0d-3802b2af5fc2
Windows xp, vista, 7 ; 64 bit
http://www.microsoft...&displaylang=en
After this, reboot and check our MD80 again. Check if the landing gear is visible. If the landing gear is visible, it worked (the VC might still need to be activated using the simicon, which is the dropdown list on the topleft in 2D panel mode). If the landing gear does not work, see below.
Step 2 (if step 1 did not help):
Can you please run the program below, and let it check the several parts of the security. It will return messages to you, whenever something is missing is will ask to add that particular item, click yes when you see that question.
Please email us for a copy of the troubleshooter
After you ran the program, please restart your PC. Now check FSX to see if the product is working.
Three more items to check are:
1. Update FSUIPC to a newer version.
2. Check if you have FSX service pack 1 and service pack 2 installed.
3. Check if you have activated the VC with the icon in the 2D panel
Please let us know via support@commerciallevel.nl if the above did not fix it for you.

Step one didn't work but I don't see why I should have to pay for FSUIPC when you were the ones who made the faulty product. I already paid thirty bucks for the product I shouldn't have to pay more for that. It was not disclosed that I might have to purchase additional product before I bought it. Also I have acceleration pack so I don't need service pack 1 and 2.

There is a free version of fsuipc (available at http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html) , you only have to pay if you want the added functionality. There are many addons that require a basic installation of fsuipc; it is not limited to CLS.

Correct, the basic FSUIPC version is free for everyone and this one is all you need.

Tried both, neither work. Please help me, I paid for this product and it looked amazing with the VC, but my VC isn't showing up. Panels will show up, so will the landing gear, but there's no VC.
Please help me.
