B767 Engine Start Up Sound

Hi.

I find the engine start up sound to abrupt on the B767; I would expect a fade in turbine sound start up, but the sound seems to be the idle engine sound starting suddenly, it doesn't sound natural to me. Is it intentional to sound like that?

Make sure your sound card drivers are up to date. Its quick, but not abrupt.
